I would not purchase this for one reason. I have dozens of SD cards. I would not want to confuse the issue with SONY's proprietary memory sticks.

I would really like to tell you something about this Sony PCM-D1 but unfortunately I can't. Amazon sent me the wrong product, a PCM-D50 which is also a very good one.

This device could be a dream for live recording... except it's absolutely impossible to record anything with the build-in microphes without hearing the noise of your fingers...
