These DL discs burn flawlessly. They are rated at 2.4x speed, but can burn at 6x without any problem. I'm running XP with an older drive, Plextor PX-716A.

This is the only brand I use. Some people will make a big deal about whether you get discs produced in India or Singapore, but I've never had any trouble with either.
